Our quality standard certified, “Pure Ceylon Cinnamon” produced in Cinnamon Plantations in a region producing high qualitative Cinnamon, reaping harvest at appropriate intervals and managed by a professional planter having 40 years of experience of fourth generation, in conformity to Good Agricultural Practices (GAP).

Dassanayake Walauwa Plantation is proud to be the First organization of its kind in Sri Lanka to introduce the new concept in modern cinnamon processing, by changing the old traditional cinnamon processing done in “Wadiya” was converted to factory and to obtain GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000:2005, FSSC 22000 Quality Standard Certificates for our first registered Model Cinnamon Processing Factory, which other entrepreneurs too, now follow.

Below depicted stages of production of Cinnamon in conformity to GMP, HACCP and ISO 22000:2005 certified processing introduced by us, deviating from the old traditional “Wadiya” system, which enabled us to obtain our present FSSC Standard Certificate.
